Day 1 Drive from Kathmandu to Panauti – Hike to Dhulikhel
Following the Arniko Highway out of Kathmandu, climb up, out of the valley of Panauti, set at the confluence of sacred rivers. (1 hr drive)Panauti to Dhulikhel is short and easy trek about 5 hours, where we can get the chance to observe the natural beauty. During our trek we can get great offer to experience the Nepalese culture and architecture along with heart touching view of the Himalayas.
Day 2 Hike from Dhulikhel to Nagarkot
We will start our morning with beautiful sunrise view from Dhulikhel. After having breakfast we will start our trek to Nagarkot. The hike between Dhulikhel and Nagarkot takes about 5 to 6 hours. There will be a lot of climb and descent but it is never going to be too difficult as the trail is perfect for a day hike like this. Nagarkot offers closer views of Langtang Lirung (7246m) in the east, through Dorje Lakpa (6966m) to the huge bulk of Gauri Shankar (7145m) and nearby Melungtse (7181m) and as far as Number (5945m) in the east.
Day 3 Trek from Nagarkot to Bhaktapur via Changu Narayan
This day, we trek all the way down to Bhaktapur. On the way, you will see from close quarters, the lifestyle of local Newari farmers. Bhaktapur is centered around its famous Durbar Square where museums, temples, courtyards and squares reveal the best of traditional art, crafts and architecture.
Day 4 Drive from Bhaktapur to Kathmandu
It is a relatively short (15km) of Bhaktapur to Kathmandu.
